An Important Question to Ask Every Day
There is an incredible power that comes with asking the right questions in life. Good questions are often the key to rising to the next level in ones journey, and in this short writing my aim is not to give you much instruction, but instead to ask the following question; Are you truly living, or are you simply existing?
Les brown once said that “many people die at 25 and don’t get buried until they are 65.” Many people go through their lives as drones, never breaking away from their daily routines that they have lived with for years. They get up, eat some food, go to work, come home, eat some food, watch some television, go to bed, and then start it all over again. This is not the good life, and it is far from what we are meant to experience in life. Are you present and excited in your relationships, your work, and your downtime? Do people gravitate towards you? Or do you face each day with a lifeless energy and routine?
Those who truly live experience every new day as if it were both their first and their last. They wake up with purpose, curiosity, excitement and vigor, ready to face another incredible day. Those who are living the good life will face every new day with joy, ready to accept what comes and ready to act in the most empowering way.
If you will ask that question every day you will hopefully be more inclined to make decisions that will help you to really experience and live a life of wonder and excitement. Anyone can experience this life. No matter what profession you are in, you can always bring your passion and excitement along with you, and generally the people who do this are the people who get ahead faster and build stronger human relationships. Truly living the good life has nothing to do with outward circumstances and everything to do with your attitude when you face the day. Face each day with excitement and gratitude, and you'll soon find yourself well on the way to your rise to the good life.
